Connecticut has always felt like home to me, and fall is when it really shines. Every October, I love seeing how neighbors here go all out for Halloween, from friendly pumpkin-lined porches to full-on haunted yards with fog and spooky sound effects. Driving around to see the decorations has become one of my family's favorite traditions, and every year we find a few new houses that make us stop and stare.
